One thing for younger activists to understand is that in this current period, individuals, groups and Leftist movements that in the past (the "radical" period of the 1960's) were posturing as revolutionary or radical, and even presented themselves as struggling to destroy the capitalist state, have now gone over to reformism and are in league with Left-Liberals to build a base in this economy and the government. Many have become businesspeople, politicians, political pundits, or administrators of nonprofit organizations. How did this happen and why did this happen, and what does it mean now?
